Pure Sweet Goodness!

"Pure sweet goodness!" my nephew said when we made these....

MmmmMmm candy sushi. Dare I mention that when he said that he was jumping up and down; he was soo wired up. You could physically see the sugar running though his veins and shooting out of his feet! It was a lot of fun to make, we had a blast. Recommend making some for yourself :) I got the whole idea from Mommy Knows. She has the recipe and step by step pictures. Definitely check it out!

Speaking of pure sweet goodness, that is how I feel about silhouettes. Anybody with me? They are simple and so pretty in my eyes. So I've been getting my silhouette on and here are the two that came out first. Hint hint I have a few more up my sleeve.

Falls Into Place

This week's topic for Illustration Friday "talisman" seems to fit my week thus far. Although I wear no luck charms to protect me, I'm not very superstitious. A lot of new opportunities has fallen into place. Pleased that this week has been treating me so well. So I feel like I got some luck with me. I'm very excited to see what happens next!!! I'm very blessed and thankful I get to share my happiness with my wonderful family and friends. I hope your week has been just as lovely and inspiring as mine! I guess luck is always close if your true to your heart :)
