IF "Flawed"

This weeks illustration friday is "flawed" suggested by Carolyn. I had a fun time with this one, I think it's funny.

I won't lie to you I love to make myself look cute. Although I always cut myself off when it comes more about the clothes and makeup I wear and less about Andrea. Sorry Joan Rivers I don't know you but all the comestic surgeries? Those decisions are flawed. And it's media's idea of beauty flawed not us.

Good Evening!

Hey hey hey! It's that time for T.G.I.F...well for some right?

While everyone is out have a blast this Friday night I'm stuck at work. Although it can be a lot of fun since my job is to insure that everyone is enjoying themselves and spending loads of money! So I'm on a lil break and I thought I would share it with you while I much on some chicken tenders mmmm.

Thank you for all the wonderful feedback on my "if." I found it all very encouraging and I'm excited for this weeks! I agree about the color scheme I love it to. In fact I'm a bit of a "double dipper." I have used those colors schemes a couple of time. I have two examples uploaded on my flickr I'll show you. Plus if you look over at my profile pic of this blog you see shoes...you think those shoes came in that color? Nope. I painted them. They were soooo cute they even had a little red stripe on the bottom. I wore those puppies out!

Have a great weekend I'll catch up with everyone once it's over!

It's time for another "IF" update!

All right so this week with Illustration Friday the topic is climbing suggested by finch. I had a couple of quick ideas running through my head like a painter's ladder, animals that are always up in trees squirrels birds, etc. Combine the two...presto!

So they are "naughty birds climbing up the paint ladder." Never mind the one on the bottom of the ladder she's is working her way up. She'll get the house all fixed up in no time and nobody will see it coming hee hee.

So last night I heard here in Ohio (where I reside obviously) has and is getting nasty weather till tomorrow morning. Snow, sleet, single digit degrees, more snow...eww! So before making back home last night quick stop at the store. Everyone knows if your going to be snowed in you can't last if your hungry, right? Going to make potato soup tonight perfect comfort food to keep me warm and full for the rest of the week. Doesn't hurt that's it's super easy hardest thing is peeling and cutting the potatoes. And that's what I'm talking about!

Then sometime after my belly is jolly(that line is for you lacie) I'm moving along to my next project. It's Grandma...well not my. It's a older lady so we will call her Grandma for the time being. And to be warned I plan on having a lil fun with her so I'm going to cheese it up!

Be careful out there!

TGIM!

Ok so I think everyone is well aware of the saying "T.G.I.F" Desperately waiting for the relaxing weekend to arrive. Well here I am thinking of the polar opposite of the phrase. T.G.I.M!!!! My weekend being lame as can be starts on Monday unlike everyone else's. I'm happy for Monday.

No more dazing around like this girl in my painting. Ha! who am I kidding I'm still going to be dazing around as always!

Lacking Vitamin D

So the winter blues are starting to really get to me. I'm wanting bright warm rays and all I am getting are grey wet and cold. No fun! So I dreamed up blue skies and turns out that whole idea abstract and far fetched. But not for long....

Tickle Me Pink

Hello! How was every one's weekend? Cold? Uh!...the cold...I tell you what the two of us we do not get along. I do have to say with it being so cold it is definitely helping me feed my need to create. I can even imagine going out and doing something out in this whether! So I've been hibernating and playing with my paints. Especially the red and pinks! I'm in a little kick well at least with the last two illustrations I made yesterday.

This illustration will be my first one that I'm going to submit to share on Illustration Friday. This week the word was "pale"
